Measure in a few simple steps.
Open the guide for the piece you are buying. All True Emanation sizes refer to the finished jewelry measurement.
Measure for a stretch bracelet
- Wrap a soft measuring tape or string comfortably snug around your wrist where the bracelet will sit.
- If using string, mark where the ends meet and measure it flat against a ruler.
- Add room for your preferred fit, then choose the nearest available half-inch size. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size.
Example: A 6.25" wrist + 0.5" for a standard fit = 6.75". Choose a 7" bracelet.
Measure for a necklace or choker
- Lay a necklace you already like flat and measure it from end to end, including the clasp.
- Or place string around your neck while looking in a mirror. Mark where you want it to fall, then measure the string.
- For a choker, add 1" to your neck measurement for a close fit or 2" for a more relaxed fit. It should never restrict breathing or movement.
Neck size, height, body proportions, bead size, and pendants can change where a necklace falls.
Measure for a stretch anklet
- Stand naturally and measure where you want the anklet to sit—usually just above or below the ankle bone.
- Wrap a soft tape or string comfortably snug. If using string, mark it and measure it flat against a ruler.
- Add room for your preferred fit, then choose the nearest available half-inch size. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size.
Example: An 8.75" ankle + 0.5" for a standard fit = 9.25". Choose a 9.5" anklet. Never choose a finished anklet equal to your bare ankle measurement.
